Our Team

Lori Gleeman is the Founder & CEO of Soul Equity Solutions. She launched the firm as an answer to a need in the PE market – a boutique, highly specialized, and consultative executive search firm, with deep knowledge of the private equity universe and its players.

For over 15 years, Lori has provided innovative talent acquisition solutions across industries. Prior to founding Soul Equity, Lori was Principal Recruiter at a Private Equity focused retained search firm, placing C-Suite executives within portfolio companies. Previously, she braved investment management attorney’s on a daily basis as Managing Director within a legal search firm, the spark for her transition into private equity. She launched her recruiting career as Managing Director at Atrium Staffing, managing the permanent placement division while making lifelong friends.

Lori lives in New York City and is a proud mom of twin boys and her Goldendoodle, Dixie. She loves to cook and entertain and enjoys skiing and yoga. Lori graduated from the University of Vermont. She is actively involved in the private equity universe, is a member of Exponent Women and serves on the Women of Leadership, and DEI committees for ACG NY.

Samantha joined Soul Equity Solutions in February 2022 and has enjoyed every minute of working with Lori and learning about the Private Equity and recruiting industries. She covers the backend of this recruiting business and ensures that everything runs smoothly. Having an entrepreneurial and business background, she knows what it is to pitch in where help is needed in a new business. Samantha is proud to be a member of the team and excited to see what’s in store for Soul Equity in the years to come.

Samantha earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Lehigh University and her MBA from Georgetown University. Samantha lives in Washington, DC with her family and two dogs. Growing up in Connecticut, she is a New Englander at heart, avidly follows the Red Sox and Patriots and loves spending time with her family in Maine and on the Cape.

Erica brings over a decade of experience in executive-level recruitment to Soul Equity Solutions, specializing in connecting top talent with growth-focused companies to drive strategic transformation. Her expertise spans industries and organizational sizes, with a focus on developing tailored hiring strategies, building high-performing teams, and fostering meaningful partnerships with leadership.

Erica’s career includes serving as Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition at Vineyard Vines, where she partnered with the leadership team to define organizational talent needs and support the company’s rapid growth initiatives. She also worked at Gartner Consulting, recruiting senior-level IT strategy executives to help clients accelerate their digital and transformation agendas. Earlier in her career, Erica was an Executive Recruiter at 24 Seven, placing executives within emerging high-growth businesses across the United States.

Based in Connecticut, Erica is a proud mom to a daughter and son. Outside of work, she enjoys skiing, paddle boarding on Long Island Sound, summer beach nights, and cozy evenings cooking with her family. Erica is a graduate of the Baker School of Business at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT).

Julia joins Soul Equity Solutions as a Recruiter with a background in technical and financial recruiting. Prior to recruiting, she was a mathematics teacher at a private secondary school in Massachusetts. Julia is an alum of the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Social Thought & Political Economy.

Julia lives in Boston and loves to read, cook, and go for runs around the city’s beautiful Back Bay.

Alex joins Soul Equity as a Recruiting Associate from Durham, North Carolina. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Journalism. Prior to Soul Equity Solutions, Alex began her recruiting career at a top search firm for digital technology companies. Alex found her love for recruiting after spending several years in retail management and discovering her passion for connecting with people and fostering career development. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her two dogs, eat delicious local food and take care of her rare plant collection.

Shivani joined Soul Equity Solutions in January 2024 as a Sourcing and Recruiting Coordinator, diving into the world of Private Equity with enthusiasm. With 9 years of experience in sourcing talent for both technical and non-technical roles, Shivani brings a wealth of expertise to her role.

She finds joy in collaborating with her colleagues and takes pride in being part of the Soul Equity team. Shivani earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Tech from India and resides there with her family.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Shivani enjoys dancing, sketching, traveling, and indulging in anime with her brother. Her passion for life and dedication to her work make her a valuable asset to both her team and the broader community at Soul Equity Solutions.
